MTRent becomes MT EVO
The industrial evolution
As a reliable supplier of CNC machines for industry, MTRent was well established on the German and Austrian markets. However, the name and corporate identity were not up to date, which is why the new ownership and management decided in favour of the branding agency FERRAS – to initiate an industrial evolution with us.
The mission
Evolution instead of revolution – so that the company’s hard-earned good reputation could be taken with it in the course of the re-branding.
However, the misleading term “Rent” was to give way to another, as the machines are almost exclusively purchased, not rented.
The MT, which stands for “Mill and Turn”, was allowed to stay.
The rebranding
And so we made the goal of evolution the programme that gave us our name:
MTRent became MT Evo. And thus the continuous further development of the company was included in the name.
The corporate design
The MT has been condensed into a highly symbolic, almost archaic ligature and can now also stand alone as a symbol. It also serves as the basic figure for the characteristic pattern of MT Evo.
The colour palette and fonts are striking, solid and strong; after all, metal is used here.

Piece by piece, the entire company has continued to develop:
The new branding was incorporated into the next generation of machines, which in turn were staged (by German industrial photographer Marvin Rust), while we shot the team and image photos for the new website with Christoph Hofbauer in Salzburg.
Trade fair stands, branded work clothing and all types of business print followed.
